Nitronic 50 (ASTM A743)

Nitronic 50 is an austenitic stainless steel that has the best corrosion resistance of all stainless steels and nearly double the strength of 316 / 316L. Nitronic 50 does not become magnetic with cold working. Nitronic 50 is a good choice in corrosive applications where 316/316L and 317/317L are marginal.

Nitronic 60 (ASTM A743)

Nitronic 60 is an austenitic stainless steel that has the best galling resistance of all stainless steels. Nitronic 60 has better corrosion resistance and strength properties than 304/304L. Nitronic 60 also has better pitting resistance than type 316.
